1. Completely disassemble the transmission.
Thouroughly clean and inspect all internal and external
parts including case and housing.
2. Disassemble the valve body and thouroughly inspect
all components. Install new gaskets and replace defective
parts
3. Replace all friction clutch plates with new
friction clutch plates. All paper- or fabric-lined
friction clutch plates must be presoaked in A.T.F. for no
lees than 20 minutes prior to installation.
4. Replace all seals, metal sealing rings and gaskets
with new seals, metal sealing rings and gaskets.
5. Replace all external seal support bushings except
those finished (molded) in place with new seal support
bushings.
6. Replace filter element with a new element meeting
or exceeding OEM specifications.
7. Install new modulator or new diaphram and springs
if transmission is so equipped.
8. Measure all clearances and tolerances and make
adjustments to OEM specifications.
9. Torque converter shall be examined and cleaned.
10. Use new automatic transmission fluid.
The above constitutes Service Grade II requirements.
Additional parts may have to be replaced based upon
specific damage. If additional parts are required, note
on customer's invoice whether these parts are new (N),
used (U) or rebuilt (R).
